Assalamu’alaikum and welcome to my story during the days when I was in the Philippines (Republika ng Pilipinas) this story started from when I arrivied at the Ninoy Aquino International Airpot (NAIA) at 09.45 am, Me and Citra (my friend from the same Campus Ahmad Dahlan University) immediately rushed to take the Baggage and found a place to rest while preaching the DMMMSU (Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University) to confirm pickup.

The Filipino I sent the first message to is Mr. Farland because the only person we had known because he is the person who interviewed us for the SEA-TVET program, Mr. Farland replied to my message and said I would be picked up by Mam Therese, not waiting for a long time Mom Therese had arrived approaching us at the airport pickup area, we received a special welcome from the DMMMSU campus, in addition to Ms. Therese there were 4 students who came to pick us up, we getting acquainted with friends from the Philippines there are Adrian, Mico, Emerson, and Maynard, I think they are buddies who will guide us while in the Philippines, it turns out they are students who will go to Indonesia as SEA-TVET participants too.

Not feel the time is showing at 11:45 am Ms. Therese took us to a famous restaurant in the Philippines, “Mang Inasal”, we enjoyed our lunch there, after that we were invited to tour the city of Manila like touring one of the malls, the Mall of Asia, buying for daily needs and also relaxing by the beach while enjoying the view.

At exactly 16:35 we returned to the airport again to take in the 4 students. We accompanied them until they entered the airport. and at 17:30 pm we immediately headed for the DMMSSU campus located in the Bacnotan district of La Union province. We were on our way to stop by for dinner and a few minutes to taook a rest and in the end we arrived at BPS North Campus Hostel at 2:30 am in the morning. We were immediately reunited with friends from the SEA-Teacher program who came from Indonesia. We wore each other yes he was our new friend in the room there Arya, Typhoon and Azi After getting acquainted and doing a short chat we also felt sleepy and immediately rested.
